Teaching began when questions were asked and answered. However, there are various factions that answer this question in various ways. Religion states that teaching began when God told Adam and Eve not to eat the apple. On the other hand, other research shows that teaching began in the Bronze Age when people learned to make bronze using copper and tin. When asked how teaching started, the answer differs because teaching began in different parts of the world with different cultures at different times. Therefore, it is difficult to say exactly when teaching started because if you go back to the stone age when people used instruments with which to hunt someone had to make them and to teach others to make these instruments.

The evolution of man’s learning began when story tellers traveled the land and told of their adventures thus teaching others about travel and also when writing began. Writing allowed people to tell their stories and others to read those stories and learn. In order to learn different skills the person had to be taught by someone that already had those skills and was considered an expert in that field. This type of person could easily be thought of as the first official teacher

It is difficult to answer the question this question, unless we first define what the word teaching means. In defining the word keep mind that if there are questions there have to be answers this process can be interpreted as teaching.
