In all states you would not be able to teach until you are licensed to do so. The requirements necessary for this certification would not be the same in all parts of the country.


For example in Florida the teacher certification examination consists of three parts, all of which need to be completed to be certified. Even if you are not successful at the first attempt there is usually the option of re-sitting the test to attain the necessary certification.
